Shastra Pratibha Contest (SPC) is renamed as VVM-SPC | Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) – Śāstra Pratibhā Contest (SPC)

VVM-SPC is a national science talent search contest organized for the Indian students studying in Saudi Arabia. It is supported by National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

What are the Beneifts ?

A total of 12 winners and 12 runners will be selected. (2 winners and 2 runners from each grade – 6th to 11th). Certificate/Medal will be awarded.

> Popularize science among students studying in grade VI to XI under various educational curriculums
> Create interest in science and technology.
> Educate about India’s contributions to Science and Technology.

Fill up the form as per instructions. Upon successful registration confirmation email will be sent with username & password to parent email.

How many rounds of competition?

• Level 1 is an online examination conducted through the exam app. Details will be emailed to registered students/communicated through respective school
• Level 2 will be conducted as a rapid fire round or science camp (Details of the second round will be communicated to selected students from round-1)
• Level 3 is a presentation round where selected students from round 2 will be asked to make a presentation on selected topics.
• GCC Zonal level Contest – India, Date: April/May 2026
• National Level Contest – India, Date: April/May 2026

Eligibility

Grade 6 to 11. The examination will be conducted class wise

Schedule/Dates

Last date of registration: Oct-25-2025

Round 1 : Online – Nov – 8-2025

Round 2&3: Will be notified to level-1 winners through schools/registered email ID’s

Exam Details

Total Question: 100
Type: Multiple choice Question
Time: 1 hr 30 min
Exam Mode: online.
Student shall receive login details to their parent email provided at the time of registration.

Student can login in anytime on the day of exam between 10am-5pm
Students will be able to login only once to take exam. No Exceptions.
Exam shall be via Android App or via Safe-exam browser in Windows / Mac. Details in student login.

Level – I examination will be of one hour and thirty minutes duration with 100 multiple choice questions – each weighted for one mark. Examination will consist of two segments viz. 

Section-A – comprising 40 questions from study material (Indian Contributions to Science and Life Story of Dr. Satyendra Nath Bose)

Section-B -comprising 60 questions based on Syllabus (Text Books ) & Logic and Reasoning (open source).
The examination will be conducted class-wise.
Evaluation of students will be based on their performance at each level.
